F-1 Visa
The F-1 visa is granted to students who enroll in universities, language courses, and other specific courses in the United States.
The applicant must fill out a series of forms, go through interviews, prove financial ability to stay in the US, and clearly demonstrate the intention to return to their home country after completing their studies.
After being granted the visa, the student can legally live in the USA, but has to strictly follow a study and class attendance routine
Does the F-1 give you permission to work in the USA?
F-1 grants restricted work permits. In the first year, students can only work on campus (except on special occasions, proving that there are no opportunities on campus). From the second year on, you can work 20 hours a week off campus (40 hours during vacations)
